As I speak English Laura asked me to answer on her behalf. I understand your point of view when you worry about our beautiful mountains, and appreciate that, too. But we should consider other things as well: 1) First of all, there are other people who think the same as you do on this matter. And these people are getting organized, I believe. So if Lumacuore doesn't get more consensus than those who are against it, probably it won't be made. For all the flaws in the Italian system, I believe there is still enaugh democracy for such mechanisms to take place. 2) Lumacuore is meant to be a piece of art made by people, many people. Ok, Laura might have had the idea, might have thought about the shape of it, but only if a lot of people decide to cooperate in this initiative the actual Lumacuore will be made. The sheets that are there now are only an idea of what it is supposed to become. Lumacuore will be made of stones, many, many stones that only a big number of people can bring. So if there won't be people doing this, there won't be Lumacuore. 3) there are other human manufacts that aren't quite an art piece, for example the antennas that are placed right where Lumacuore is, that alter the natural beauty of the mountain and nobody complains about them (because, oh God, don't take tv away from us!) And this is just an example of the ugly things we constantly accept in exchange of a so called progress... 4) stones are natural, they come from the rivers nearby, and one day weather fenomena and vegetation will integrate them in a more natural look of the mountain anyway.
